Two children just arrived from the Ukraine

Our love knows no boundaries – please send your love

They come to us from around the world.

And we accept them with open arms. Children with complex orthopedic conditions…life-threatening burns, cleft lip and palate…and extreme spinal cord injuries.

So, when we learned that two innocent children from Ukraine, ages 1-1/2 and 2-1/2, had been badly burned and needed help, we knew immediately what we had to do.

We sent Love to the rescue®! The children were removed from their hospital in Ukraine to Poland due to the war, and then flown by air ambulance, with only their moms by their sides, to Shriners Hospitals for Children so they could receive critical care for their severe burns. They arrived just last week!

When emergencies arise, it is the compassion of caring people like you that enables Shriners Hospitals for Children to provide life-changing care to children here in the U.S. and around the globe who most urgently need our specialized pediatric care.

Thanks to you, our care knows no boundaries. Your generous support touches the lives of children and families and provides specialized pediatric care at 17 international outreach locations. Together, we’ve treated children from more than 146 countries!

In this case, we knew these two toddlers needed to be cared for at Shriners Hospitals for Children, home to some of the world’s leading pediatric burn specialists.

We got to work immediately, caring for their burns, comforting them, helping them to heal. We couldn’t have done it without friends like you.

Please consider a gift today. You’ll help young patients like these Ukrainian toddlers, and all children, who urgently need the most amazing care anywhere, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.

Thank you for your compassion for children here at home, and all over the world. Make a gift today if you can.

Sincerely,

Stuart P. Sullivan
