Dear Fellow Nobles and Shriners Hospitals for Children Staff Members,
We want to take a moment to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season. We also want to thank you for your continued commitment to the missions and work of Shriners Children’s™ and Shriners International. Please know that every single one of you has a place in our hearts, and is valued and appreciated. We are all blessed to be part of our huge, extended global family.
As we reflect on 2021 – it has been another extremely challenging year. And yet, as always, you, the people of the Shriners organizations, continue to put our patients and families – and our fraternal brothers – first, continue to make a difference and continue to give others hope. Every day.
Hope – and joy – are hallmarks of the Christmas holiday season. Soon 2021 will come to a close, and we will approach the New Year with renewed hope and confidence in the future. And in 2022, as we continue our efforts on behalf of others, we will celebrate – with great joy – the 100th anniversary of our unique health care system and the 150th anniversary of our amazing fraternity.
It is the combined selfless dedication and compassion of each of you that has allowed us to reach these truly monumental milestones and made our health care system and our fraternity respected worldwide. Together, we have continued to improve lives, and make the world a better place, even with the risks and restrictions of the pandemic. As you celebrate this holiday season, celebrate your strength and resilience, and the power of the human spirit. And remember that each of you has made a difference in the lives of children. Working together, we will continue to accomplish amazing things.
Together with our ladies, Debby and Lisa, we wish you and your families joy, peace, health and happiness – and a holiday spirit that will last throughout the year. We are so glad you are part of our Shriners family, and our lives.
Please enjoy every moment and savor every memory this special season brings.
Yours in the faith,
William S. “Bill” Bailey
