2017 Shriners Draw for Kids Winners
The 2017 winner of the Shriners Draw for Kids Grand Prize – a 2017 Ford Mustang valued at $46,000 provided by Cam Clark Ford Lincoln located in North Vancouver, is Nav Kandola of Kelowna, BC.
The second prize winner is Garth Mitchell of Delta, BC, who receives $10,000 cash, and the third prize winner is Gordon Closson of Duncan, BC who receives $5,000 cash. The draw was held at the Gizeh Shrine Temple in Burnaby, BC on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
Shriners of BC & Yukon sold tickets throughout the province with the proceeds going to Shriners of BC & Yukon Child Services Society.
Beyond clowns, tasselled hats, and little motorcycles, Shriners International is a fraternal organization providing pediatric health care for children without regard to the ability of a patient or family to pay.
Care for children in BC and Yukon requiring medical attention for any of the orthopedic and other paediatric specialty conditions treated at Shriners Hospitals for Children is directed through the Shriners of British Columbia & Yukon Child Services Society. The majority of children in BC and Yukon are treated in Portland, Oregon or Spokane, Washington, and Montreal, Quebec.
